Privacy notice

Updated September 11, 2026

Ridgeview Ventures, LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company in the United States, operates AnyOfThese. Contact support@ridgeview.us about privacy or your information.

Information you provide

We store the poll title, options, dates, notes and suggestions you submit, your votes and any name you choose to enter. A guest poll does not require an email address. If account features are available and you choose them, we process your email address, sign-in information and saved-poll associations. Support requests include the information you send us.

Access links and essential storage

Voting links let their holders see the poll. Host links allow management of it. Other people can forward those links. We use cookies and browser storage to remember your ballot, preserve host access and maintain an optional sign-in session. Clearing that storage can remove your access or make you appear as a new voter. Browser policies can limit how long it lasts.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal information. The current beta has no advertising or cross-site marketing tracking. Fonts are served by this application.

Why we use information

We use information to provide polls and accounts, follow your sharing choices, prevent abuse, investigate faults, respond to support requests and meet legal obligations. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, these uses may rely on providing the requested service, legitimate interests in operating and securing it, legal obligations, or consent where required. You may contact us to ask about or object to a use.

Diagnostics and service providers

Network infrastructure receives information such as your IP address and browser request details. IP-based limits help prevent abuse. Our Ridgeview-operated error-monitoring system receives technical diagnostics such as error type, stack locations, browser or runtime details and the software version. We filter access tokens, URL query strings and private server error messages before sending application error events. Diagnostics are not sent to Sentry’s cloud.

We use service providers for hosting, DNS, encrypted backups and support email, including AWS, Cloudflare and Google Workspace. Authorized team members may access information when needed to operate the service or respond to a request. Providers process information for their service functions. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect people or the service.

Retention and deletion

A free poll becomes eligible for expiry after all its dates have passed and at least 90 days have passed since the later of its last activity or latest date. Future plans are not removed simply because nobody has visited recently. Eligible poll content, votes and participant names are removed when the poll is checked or a scheduled sweep runs; an expired-poll record, including identifiers and plan dates, remains so the old link can explain what happened. Different retention applies only where an enabled account feature explicitly provides it.

Sign-in codes expire after ten minutes. Expired pending email addresses are cleared by credential cleanup; hashed challenge records remain through the abuse-prevention window. Scheduled cleanup may be delayed during an outage. Expired sessions are also cleared. Account deletion does not automatically erase guest polls that still work through their original host links.

Encrypted database backups follow a separate rotation: daily copies for 14 days and weekly copies for 42 days. Previously replaced versions may remain longer under backup-version retention. Deletion from the active application does not immediately remove every backup copy. Backups are restricted to recovery, and applicable deletions must be reapplied after recovery. Copies other people saved or shared outside AnyOfThese are outside our control.

Contact support to request access, correction or deletion, or ask about other rights available where you live. We may need enough information to verify your relationship to a poll or account. Do not send a password, sign-in code or host-management link in your initial request. You may also contact the data-protection authority available in your jurisdiction.

Safety and changes

This beta is for adults aged 18 or older and is not intended to collect children’s information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. Avoid entering sensitive personal details in polls. We use safeguards to protect information, but no service can promise absolute security.

We will update this notice when our practices change and show the revision date. Material changes will receive appropriate notice.
